Just a thought, but ACORN isn't active in your hometown??? Somebody might have "accidentally" been registered 25 times or an ACORN rep might have mistaken a dead person as a living person. It could happen... LOL

There's also been an unprecedented surge in voter registration other battleground states. My only question: why did Obama's campaign pay ACORN $860,000, as they themselves have confirmed? Very strange.

Why did Obama's campaign pay ACORN $860,000? Probably because they believe in democracy. The major parties should be supporting comprehensive voter registration so that all voters can exercize their hard won democratic right. The sight of party activists trying to prevent voters from registering and/or voting should be nothing less than repugnant in a mature democracy.

Isn't registering somebody 19 times repugnant? How about ACORN in Nevada registering the Dallas Cowboys? Isn't that repugnant?

Yes, of course that's wrong if the claim is shown to be correct. However registering someone 19 times doesn't get them nineteen votes. You need to understand the ACORN process a bit better, it is normally their own controls that uncover these abuses and correct them. Presumably you have voiced your strong concerns about the voter disenfranchisement that took place, and was proven, in 04 and are now campaigning for paper ballots in all state and federal elections in order to ensure that results can't be tampered with.
