Yet, it is the Ivory Tower which undermines our military institutions who benefits from all those GI Bills; encouraging young people to believe that an indoctrinated education is good for their minds is one of the reasons why college kids graduate college dumber than when they entered.
Our educational system is disgusting beyond disgust and I don't care which side of the aisle a professor lives, they should all be ashamed for the poor quality they produce and even further ashamed that they are protected eternally by tenure.
Professor are such protected idiots that they have forgotten that the only thing standing between liberty and tyranny are those who serve in the military.
As you can guess, I ahbor the elite protected class with every fiber of my being. Tenure needs to go, idiot indoctrinators should not be protected they're just making America stupid serfs.

I find it interesing how all these negative rants always get op-ed exposure, yet anything positive... not to be found.
While I can understand his frustration, this is not the way to express it by demeaning his fellow citizens and trying to guilt trip them into joining the military. He knew the cost of enlisting (or at least he should have). The nation is at war and it has to do what it has to do in order to win.
From his tone, it sounds like he does not support the war effort, because he does not suggest a draft in order to win the war, he suggests a draft in order for an anti-draft movement to force a surrender in the war effort.

So funny...the comment attacks somebody who does his job, gets out, then gets called back up, but he's supposed to just bend over and take it? Oh, I'm sorry, he's being negative - how dare he!?
If the government of this country can't manage to show the citizens that it's war worth fighting, then it's not much of a government.
"The nation is at war and it has to do what it has to do in order in to win." That's precisely what the nation is NOT doing.
"He should have known the cost of enlisting." Wow, way to motivate people, Mike.
People like you baffle me, they really do. We put people like you in charge, and then look what happened.
