I was on the Montel show in Sept. '06 as a guest. I'm an Army wife. I sat next to Jesse Jackson. It was a bad experience. Montel's show is simply a hit job on the President. I can garauntee that if Bill Clinton were president, Montel would not be so quick to slime the military. It's an attempt to slime the President. He's very unprofessional both behind the scenes and in front of the camera.

Bet Montel never imagined that the person he asked to leave was a blogger who has a platform to tell the other side of the story.

"I expected more from Montel Williams than this"
This is the problem right here. After 6 years of pretty much 99% of the media having an anti-military, anti-Conservative, anti-Republican, anti-Bush Administration, anti-Christian agenda, I would have thought people would not make the mistake of expecting better of anyone in the media.
Andi, I respect the work you do as a milblogger, but come on. Were you that naive to think someone in the media did not have a liberal agenda?
The fact is, the only way the truth is going to get out there is when MilBloggers and Conservative Bloggers such as Michelle Malkin, the Power Line gentlemen and Charles Johnson of LGF and Conservative pundits such as the people at NRO like Mark Levin and Stanley Kurtz and Andy McCarthy and embedded bloggers such as Michael Yon and Michael Fumento and Bill Roggio get together and start up their own 24-hour cable news station. Until that happens, the media runs this country. Period.
It should be quite obvious by now that the media is out to utterly destroy the military. Yes, I said destroy them. Not misrepresent them. Not just undermine the war. But DESTROY the US military. Why? Because the US military is the only reason the United States is a superpower. If the media can destroy the US military by turning an ignorant and apathetic American public against it as well as discourage future generations from wanting to join the military, it will have succeeded in destroying the US military and knocking the USA from superpower status.
That is their ultimate goal as I see it.
Once more people realize this and realize we need to circumvent them by putting forth our own unfiltered media outlet (much like Rush Limbaugh started with his radio show in 1988), then we will be able to succeed. Until then, though, we are never going to get a fair shake in the media.
