If you are handy and have the time, you can make them.

Google "Cool Scarves" on the internet.

I'd give you the site but I am currently on a computer that is lacking several operating system programs.

I looked into this last summer and you can make heaps of them for about $20-$30 and send them to any Troop support group.

Note: If you just do a Google search for "cool scarves," the first thing that comes up is a site that sells fancy hand-woven colored scarves, not the polymer-filled cooling scarves Soldiers' Angels is looking for. The About.com pattern is the third result.

I know that you can make these scaves, sell them to a local sports shop for $6 or $7 and make enough to cover the overhead of purchasing a great deal of the materials to make the scaves.
Explain how they work for athletes and bicyclists, etc. and that the proceeds go to purchase and fund scarves sent to the troops, easy.

Now if you are someone who doesn't sew, I am sure that a story in the local newspaper or even and ad in classifieds searching for a Sewer for Soldiers would do the trick! Make sure to get fabric that works well for the guys, I think the website Rose provided explains that.

We half to keep the mental health of our troops in mind as well as physical. It is hard not to get depress or have another condition show up when your noggin is getting cooked like and egg.

If you can believe it, I purchased this MAC tower and keyboard from Ebay here in Canada. I really like the idea that it came from Chicoutimi, Quebec where I spent a summer learning rudimentary French.

Unfortunately, it came from the college and was wiped clean of an operating system AND came with a FRENCH keyboard. That doesn't excuse the homonym errors but it does cover the other ones.

We set it up for ENGLISH but forgot to LOOK at the keyboard! When I have some cash, I will get an English keyboard.

Don't go bitching about the French. If they hadn't helped us in the Revolutionary war beat the snot out of "the Red Coats" we'd be speaking "BBC English."
