I was reading this just at the time an old CD favorite of mine was playing, The Best of Busby Berkeley at Warner Brothers. The song was from Gold Diggers fo 1933, Remember My Forgotten Man. It was written about the WW I vets who were forgotten during the Depression. It struck me that we have to make sure that our current military servicemen never get in that situation. The end of it was really striking,"Forgetting him, you see, means you're forgetting me, like my forgotten man."
Shame they did not have sites like this one and Blackfive and the rest of the military blogs to make sure we don't forget our men in uniform, especially during the holiday season.
