Does John Harriman know he is you, and you are him? :) It would be nice if a journalist writing a story got his names and identities straight.
I can't say that I have ever watched the show. I never planned on it, because I don't think Hollywood could ever get the "feel" or the "real sense of honor and lose". Or for that matter, the right era equipment. I rather hear the news from the blogs, and those who are on the ground for the reality of it all.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOLLOWS:
Remember "Gulf War Syndrome" from the first Gulf War, the "mystery illness" afflicting most of the soldiers who participated in it? I found out what it is: depleted uranium poisoning. The Dept. of Defense claims it's harmless and uses it now more than ever, in Abrams tank armor, in tank gun rounds, in 30mm ammunition fired from A-10 'Warthogs' and certainly a myriad of other uses I'm not privy to. It is afflciting over 200,000 vets of Gulf War One who have filed for disability checks, and killed thousands more already. The rest will certainly die miserable deaths way before their time and it even affects their spouses and even causes their babies to be born with grotesque birth defects like missing arms etc.!! The amount of depleted uranium used in the first Gulf War has been surpassed four times over by the amount used in this current mess so far and it isn't over yet. The worst part is depleted uranium dust, as even a single particle of it lodged in one's respiratory system is cancer-causing. The Dept. of Defense STILL denies the facts and even tried several times to kill the whistleblower who was spreading the truth about it! I doubt regular gas masks would protect from the depleted uranium dust and anyways they'd have to wear the whole MOPP-IV suit because you can't even get any of that stuff on your skin or clothing. So please, disseminate this message to as many troops as possible to let them know what they're being exposed to and what they might be bringing back to sicken their loved ones with. Don't they have a right to know the score??

I think its interesting for NYT's to trash "Over There" on the night the show has an episode bashing the press.

Hey Carl, you need to wrap the tinfoil on your head a little tighter, the beams apparently are still getting through.
