At least for Riding Sun's post, I have to strongly disagree. Herbert's writings may not be everyone's piece of cake, but they hardly consitute treason. His tone is different, and he is really criticizing the President, not giving aid and comfort to the enemy. It would be better in my humble opinon to argue the merits of his arguemnt, not to attack his Americanism.

Treason is the toughest crime to obtain a conviction FOR A GOOD REASON.....
Reason: being difficult to convict of treason allows us to use our other freedoms, free speech, free press, etc..
We live in a free society. The price for our freedom has been/is paid in blood.
We live in a free society. We must suffer those who disagree with us.

i'm with skippy-san on the riding sun piece but this george galloway charachter belongs in a prison cell.in my navy we'd throw him a party.a blanket party and he's the birthday boy.
