msnbc.msn.com reports on Bush's speech in advance: "Bush was to have said . . . " and you post 2 or 3 hours in advance. Isn't anyone waiting for a few facts before opining and reacting?

And I did listen/watch the Presidents speech. It was a good speech but Fox News ruined it afterwards by having Wesley Clark on afterwards for his "commentary" on the President's speech. You have no idea how difficult that was for me to write Wesley instead of Weasley.....guess I gave in after all. ;)

I work nights. I'm usually asleep until about an hour before I leave for work. :)

I NEVER listen to speeches; a speech is just that, a speech. Then you get into the counter-speech, and 'What he means is' and all that. I prefer to wait and see what they DO, rather than what they say. From a position of retrospect, it can be interesting to compare what he said with what he did, but in the end if he never did anything, it doesn't matter what he said.
