No mention of it on your list of topics, but I think congratulations to Douglas Wood and his family are in order. Mr. Wood is now the first man taken hostage in Iraq who was sucessfully rescued. I hope it's a good omen.
And if anybody in Iraq is reading this, I would like to thank you personally. Mr. Wood was a neighbor of mine (he lived for many years in Orange County, CA, a fact that was not widely publicized during his capture) up until I turned 6 or 7 and he was well liked by pretty much everyone who knew him. I wasn't optimistic about his eventual release, but it looks like I underestimated our men in uniform. Thanks again.

My brother John and I are starting a blog together. John is a standup comedian out of Kansas City and I'm a web developer. So far we are just trying to figure out what it will do. One of the ideas is that since he likes to write Parody songs. The blog will be both commentary and musical in nature. Currently we are posting a parody of a prisoner singing Karaoke at Guantanamo Bay. It's a parody of the Rolling Stones Satisfaction - "I'm at Gitmo, Out of Action" It makes fun of how well the prisoners are being treated. I hope you enjoy it. You can download it at www.bloggersrow.com

Be sure to excercise your freedom of speech and let her know just how you feel about her support for a group of protesters who heckled 11 year old David Smith. For those who don't know, the father of this boy was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in Iraq. As David was leading the pledge of allegiance at the 230th Army birthday in Cambridge MA a group of protesters booed him, Ms. Decker supported the protesters.
I managed to stop short of refering to her as '[DELETED]'...

I had promissed myself I would not come on to your sight and vent as I have a couple of times, but this was too much.I do not know how many of your readers pay much attention to the buisness shows, but I saw something on Cavuto,Fox News. They had Denise [DELETED],you know, that congressman that believes if we have a War Dept.,we should have a Dept.of Peace. That little twit, nothing against short people,I am 5'4".That little twit.Twit, maybe that word has one too many letters in it.Anyway, the twit is going to propose a pullout of Iraq much like as WAS done in Viet Nam.Now there's an Idea, let's promise people a better life, get thier hopes up,and then walk out on them. And congress would quickly cut off funding to their military and the MSM would praise the fact that we saved hundreds of American lives while Thousands,if not Millions die in their stead.Maybe we can make that policy SOP,we will be loved buy every enemy we have.We will be popular!

I know nothing about Durbin except people for whom he has now stated his opinion elected him to the Senate. “…you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime--Pol Pot or others--that had no concern for human beings.” He couldn’t be saying this on the record could he? “Sadly, that is not the case. This was the action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners.” I wonder how many of the Americans he is talking about come from his home state? This is not information that could be used in a court of law or it would have been. Yet, it is now in the record as proof. People will die because of it and Durbin will stand for re-election as if nothing happened.
Senator, I can stand up today and read into the record for any that would listen, “Dick Durbin was sleeping in Michael Jackson’s bed with the boys as well, per some report gathered, unconfirmed, by unnamed law enforcement personnel.” Now Jackson was found innocent but was he? He will go down in history as one of the worst child molesters but forgiven because he is a rich, talented little weirdo. I wonder how Durbin feels about the public linking him to Jackson’s bed and little boys?
It is time that people started pressuring the men and women they hired with their votes and bring them back under control. The damage caused by the House and Senate over the past few weeks will bring major aid and comfort to enemies of the United States. Death of young people will be blamed on you Senator and your friends on the Hill.

DELETED! You're a broken record willy, no need to repeat the same mantra on every post.

May I presume that you will be similarly censoring Don Black's postings of the same rant against Durbin in several threads, or as a good [DELETED]do you only believe in uncensored speech for people who you agree with?
Posted by Willysnout at June 16, 2005 10:01 PM
Oops, my bad. Black hasn't posted the same comment in different threads. Others have posted very similar ones. See, when I make a mistake I'll admit it. That's why I'm not a [DELETED].
