Kind of ironic that a republican aide sending out a memo politicising Schiavo is front page NYT stuff, but John Kerry sending an email politicising dead and wounded soldiers wont make page 8.

I personally thought it was a great idea, and I urge every serving man and woman, and every veteran to take a trip over there and fill out his little form. I did so with pride. It is not often that one has the opportunity to speak (virtually, at least) firsthand with a long-serving senior senator, and let him know just to what a high degree that you still regard him as a scum-sucking chickenshit cowardly weasel. On his dime, nonetheless. Make sure to ask him when he's gonna actually sign that form 180, while you're at it.

re: Rumor has it some people actually have been known to exaggerate (if not fabricate) their service experiences.
Ouch!
But on the other hand, heh. Good stuff :-)

We should all e-mail our Senators with the great stories of soldiers serving in Iraq. About how the morale is high, and how they are thankful for the support of the citizens in the USA, especially in making sure they get the funding they need to complete the mission...
We should turn it back on his 'WHINNING ASS'

The good news today is that Cornyn got one of bills "expressing the sense of the Senate" passed. This one "expressed the sense" that they shouldn't hold up military funding because of an immigration debate... or non-debate.
Good sense, there.
