Some of the comments over there are better than the post. LOL.

G, or more likely Mrs.G, I have a suggestion. I love your site, but it has one significant problem...it takes forever to load. This makes it particularly time consuming when we follow a link and then come back.
There are blogs that, instead of re-directing to the referenced link, open a second window and use that to view the linked post. When through, you can then close the second window and be back at the original site without having to wait for it to reload. If your blogging package allows you to do this, I think it would be a boon to those of us who visit your site regularly.

Hold "shift" key when clicking link - opens in new window.

I like Rumsfeld. He takes solid information and diplomatically beats moonbats with it.
He slapped Russert around too.
It's good to see but you would think the critters would learn.

I just saw the exchange rerun on C-SPAN. You could tell that everyone in the room was a little embarrassed for her until the chairman broke in.

Anyone else here a Dave Barry fan?
After discussing the Bad Song sub-genre "Teen Death Songs," he confessed that he'd once written one, in which the tragic refrain was as follows:
"Oh, Loretta
Why did I let ya
Stand unattended near the threshing machine?"
Don't know why I just thought of that.
Oh, and, Greyhawk: Your Laundry Day posts were wonderful. I couldn't wait to know whether you finally made your escape! Congratulations, and thanks.

Great post. I heard the exchange between Rumsfeld and the Congresswoman, and she ended up looking like an idiot.
