I hopoe it doesn't complete Mudville's annual Howard "I Have A Scream" Dean post, because I'm looking forward to the humor that is Dean when he opens his mouth.

Ritter has been on Al-Jazeera since at least November as noted here.

Everytime I read something about this guy I feel the need to wash with a strong disinfectant.
EWWWWW!
An annual post is 1 too many but please give us warnings beforehand.

I just think of him as the gift that keeps on giving! Everything he says will provide shredding material, I think.

You knew the DNC was going te be headed by a "progressive" when they picked the extreme "progressive" Reid to replace Tom. There seems to be no center in the Democratic party any more; too bad for Zell.

Mr. Dean...errrr....Dr.:
Diplomacy is a lot broader than sitting around on your ass negotiating appeasement while you unknowingly await the inevitable.
Congratulations Doc. I celebrate your newfound chairmanship in the knowledge that you just can't keep your damned piehole shut long enough to stop you from embarrassing yourself and the nutcases you run your party with.
One day, the democrats of old (very old) are going to wake up, rise up and send you and your clan bouncing on your socialist appeasing Euro-admiring asses.
Their going to come from Arizona!
...and Minnesota!
...and Oregon!
...and California!
...and all the way to Washington DC!
...and their going to take back their Party!!!
YYYEEEAAAAARRRGGHHHH!!!!!!
Jackass.

mrupe:
You've heard the expression "Once a Marine, Always a Marine", right?
Well, rest easy knowing that we reserve the right to rescind that order and revoke status.
Rest even easier knowing that if Scottie were alone in a room with an 'unrevoked' Marine, it would be a wall-to-wall conference.
(Let's call that an invitation, shall we? Feel free to stop by anytime, Scottie.)

This is the most ridiculous conclusion I have ever seen the far right wing nut group draw. BTW, this post is irrespective of whether you agree with Dean or not.
Dean says that defense is more than "swaggering around" and carrying a big stick. You say that belittles the US Military. Huh? The military still plays a part obviously and he acknowledges that but he also says there are other things. Things, he implies, the Bush administration has forgotten about.
Your conclusion is wrong which makes your thought process questionable. Once again, another right winger just trying to get mouse clicks and a Reynolds mention for your web site. Your ability to deduce accurate conclusions is suspect.

As James Taranto has pointed out, Howard Dean's coarse remark was actuallyt quite an accurate description of BILL CLINTON's defense policy, particularly with regard to Iraq.
President Bush's policy was actually quite different: he didn't swagger around SAYING he was going to kick Saddam's butt -- HE DID IT.
Thank God we have a President like George W. Bush.
