What makes me really angry is that I live in Australia, yet I understand fully why the Iraqi people are fighting this illegal occupation, whilst dogs such as yourself will do anything to appease your masters. Do you not feel any sympathy for the 100,000+ Iraqis who have died from American bombs?
America intends that a pro-Washington government should be elected in Iraq, and they will stop at nothing to bring that about. Anyone who is not completely pro-American is immediately condemned as "terrorist" or "insurgent" or "terrorist-sympathiser", etc etc, and is treated with complete barbarism by the US military. The Americans - as has often been observed - protect none but their own. You would not know it, from listening to our Prime Minister, but in Britain there is huge anger among ordinary people at what has been done to Fallujah; people are saying how is this behaviour of the Americans any different from what Saddam Hussein did at Hallabjah?

Is there a name for the psychological condition whose sufferers believe anything they hear about Iraq - except for the words of those of us who are here - to the point where they are compelled to demand that the people who actually live here share their twisted view?
Do these people stop for a minute to ponder the utter ridiculousness of their claims? Are they completely ignorant of the air of superiority they project when conveying this message?: "Look you ignorant savages, I'll tell you exactly how it is in your country since you backwater morons are too stupid to see it for yourselves..."
It's a mental condition that I am calling "elitist arrogant oppression", and it seems to be reaching epidemic proportions in many regions of the world. There is never a shortage of evil people to rise up and try to punish a good deed.

Rachael is paricularly nasty. The 'Star from Mosul' is a teenage (or younger) girl and 99% of the comments are supportive and friendly, non-partisan etc. Rachael stomps in, and shows no concern for the girls welfare, though it sounds quite dangerous - IIRC the rant you quote was in response to Najma posting about the fatal shooting of a relative possibly by Americans.
I guess it's what the 'useful idiots' do; now that their original sponsor is defunct, their enemy is still there. Ain't free speech great ;)Posted by simon.-in-england at November 16, 2004 03:45 PM
Rachel is a frequent commentor, and sometimes actually makes a point. But she seems to feel that it is not understandable to shoot at those who are shooting at you, and it is unforgiveable to say anything bad about the Salafi/Wahabbi desire for world domination.Posted by John Anderson at November 16, 2004 06:42 PM
"What makes me really angry is that I live in Australia..."
With their criminal protection--ahem, "gun control"--madness, I'd be really angry about living there, too. And here's a little something for Rachel:

Clintonism and the anti-American agendists can be summed up as wanting America to create new Global Empire while simul being a ROGUE itself such that America and any American Global Empire must eventually be destroyed as well like Radical Islam and the rogue states. The Clintons are for Communism, Global Communism, Communist Asia [Russia-China] and America and the world being ruled under the same via OWG, which is why for the life of me I can't comprehend why nations like FRANCE is for the anti-American agenda, and is so likely knowing full well France will inevitably end up being destroyed just like America and the Western world! Where in the history of Communism and John "America MUST recognize the importance of ASIA" Kerryism does France get the idea that they and desirous future FRANCO-PHILIC EUROPE won't inevitably be SOVIETIZED, RUSSIFIED, STALINIZED, SLAVICIZED, or MAOSIFIED/SINO-FIED like what Stalin did to Eastern Europe and Cuba, or Red China to North Korea and Vietnam!? The more CHIRAC says something anti-American, the more Napoleon is justified for being born Italian.Posted by JosephMendiola at November 17, 2004 02:33 AM
