Friends and Enemies

but really, Assasination?

I know not all Britons feel this way but still one must ponder.

Seems maybe so

And according to this, we bloggers may play a pivitol role in all this.

Now I'm not ready to jump into a war with Iran, but it seems the oppressed Iranians are becoming more courageous with each passing day and may soon start their own uprising (let us hope).

As far as possible, do not trade or treat with those who hold you and your ideals in open contempt. Do not buy the rope to hang you.
Newspaper endorsements probably don't sway many voters, but they do help me chose what paper to subscribe to, or to cancel. I do not watch programs where the stars are openly against me. My mind and heart is not won by beating up on me.

Awesome blog... I just have to say that it's, "Do we know who _our_ friends are? We know who _our_ enemies are." I get the auto-typing fingers thing... my fingers think that lose is spelled loose, and nothing I can do convinces them otherwise. :-)

I just know you'll get links to this article.

The linked article about blogs in Iran and other Muslim countries was interesting, though it seemed the author was suggesting starting political blogs on purpose even while she said that having the government do it wouldn't work. Blogs are like the ultimate free-market where individuals make individual decisions... to have a blog or not, and what the blog will be about. Trying to force that won't work even if it's privately and not government run.

I hope that action in Iran is not inevitable, no matter how war-happy some people seem to be. I'm not "anti-war" but it seems to me that taking all responsibility upon ourselves just lets everyone else get lazy.

My sentiments exactly; I have a running list (work in progress) of CEOs that were major contributors to the Kerry/Edwards campaign. Guess what?

As far as criticism from the Brits goes: they couldn't even vanquish the Falkland Islands without our help.
