Purple Heart! Purple Heart!

I wonder why this blog continues to be a purveyor of hate by promoting SmartLiars' drivel. Why hate?
I mean no disrespect for servicepeople, at home or in Iraq. But I challenge this blog's emphasis on the hate Kerry Campaign. There is a valid, factually based argument that Bush lied us into warring on Iraq, that he has not properly pursued OBL, he has messed up the occupation of Iraq and he has caused unnecessary deaths to Americans and to Iraq's for some unrealistic dream America can pre-emptively force democracy on another country at the barrel of a gun. Why not bedate those issues?
Where is the concern and debate on this blog about the many problems our soldiers face in Iraq and at home, the probelms this war is casuing for the National Guard and Reservists families of those called up, where is the discussion of a possible draft and veterans pay and benefits, where is a discussion about censorship of soldiers, their rights to free speech and the charge against one brave soldier who would not shut up? Where is a realistic discussion of what Bush war is all about and how it is going?
I have a problem with this site buying into the Bush big lie and fear tactics. You all can tell me I am wrong, but I would like your proof, but not your gut reactions or beliefs. There is too much at stake to let 35+ year old history decide the up coming election and be the focus of this blog. That is why the SwiftLiars are doing a disservice to America by using smear tactics and this blog does by supporting the SwiftLiars and expanding its voice.
There is too much good in America and for us to let it sink into the mudhole created by Rove. All of us need light and enlightenment, not just onesided statements, no matter how firmly believed

pete, you have the ability to leave links in Mudville Gazette comments if you're smart enough to deal with simple html. If you insist of pushing that "Bush lied" drivel, perhaps you'd like to back it up with links to some reputable sources. Atrios, KOS, Democratic Underground, etc, are not reputable sources, nor are AP or C-BS. If you'd bother to read some of the things posted on this blog instead of just dropping by to stink the place up, you'd know that the things we post here are backed up by links to collaborating information. Who should I believe, Greyhawk, who's posting from Iraq, or you, with your repetition of what you heard in some chatroom? Gee, let me think about that for a couple of seconds. If you're up to the challenge, please feel free to use this space to defend your position with facts, not opinions. If you can't do that, then please leave. You're hard on this tired old veteran's blood pressure.
Fortunately for you, I do not have the ability to delete comments or ban commenters. You've already seen evidence, however, before you changed to a different alias (with the same email address as "enditem"), that Mrs. Greyhawk's patience may be quite limited while her warrior husband is away. Is your life so small that you really need to make yourself feel more important by testing that patience?
