They deserve an apology. Perhaps they should just sue the pants of CBS.

It is interesting how a person becomes what he hates. There is no difference between the stonewalling of Nixon over Watergate and Dan Rather over Rathergate.
The Watergate burglary was a silly campaign stunt. Dan Rather has stolen the honor (something he obviously knows nothing about) of a dead man. Lied and slandered the President of the United States, during a war and an election. This is far more scandalous than Watergate.
Just another chapter in the book of chicken doodoo journalism from the MSM. You bloggers ROCK!!
See BS must be saying to "Richard Cranium" Dan, "Another fine mess you've gotten us into..."

I believe DNCBS News owes the Killian family an apology. To the best of my knowledge, the law says you can't defame a dead person. If that's true, then they probably have no legal recourse against DNCBS for liable or slander.
Col Stout (sp) is another matter. He was slaundered in one of those bogus memos and he's still alive. I hope he pulls a Westmoreland on DNCBS's ass and sues them. I'd be willing to donate to his legal fund if he does so.
There's someone else who is owed an apology by Dan Rather and DNCBS - President Bush. Hell will freeze over before that happens, though.

Yeah, I also noticed that Rather said he was sorry. Sorry to who? Or perhaps, sorry for what, that he caught caught?
