I absolutely, positively second that thought.
And not just parents of deployed Marines.
Anyone who wants to get a positive, uplifting, accurate picture of what our guys are doing over there. You won't find a better site than Marine Corps Moms.
One consideration if you're a big site - think about bandwidth and email her first - that's something large sites don't always consider when they link to a smaller site. Thousands of casual clickers can crash a smaller site, and then regulars can't access the site at all. She may have the bandwidth to handle links like that - then again, she may not. To be on the safe side, be courteous and email her first.

Thanks! I just upgraded our account to the next level so bandwidth is fine and I always appreciate a link! We're still so new that every comment and trackback is a thrill.

I'm glad to hear that's not a problem for you Deb.
I wasn't trying to discourage links by any means :) I just remember getting a link from Instapundit (my one and only!) about 2 weeks after I started blogging - followed by several others - it crashed my site and I spent the rest of the day frantically trying to figure out what had gone wrong (I had no idea what had happened). Like a lot of those kinds of things, it didn't result in any permanent traffic - it just screwed things up for a couple of days.
Ironically, the post was about Kerry's medals and I took a lot of heat for saying I questioned him getting so many of them in only 4 months. This was back in February. After a few hours, another post on Instapundit said Snopes had "debunked" what my source had said, then Greyhawk had a nice series of posts examining how stupid Snopes' analyis was (if I remember correctly). I was so new I think I was still in shock :)
The whole thing was a bit upsetting (and of course ironic considering subsequent events) - now I would just take it in stride, but I had just started out and wasn't expecting it!
