Poor Bastard!
They should have given you something for the other end, instead of something for your head.
Ah well, at least you didn't have to get a gamma globulin (although you've probably had one before).

Does this mean that you also won a free trip to some exotic location? I hope not!!

Good luck and good hunting, Greyhawk.

Does it do tricks?
Mine didn't, but yours might be special.

Get some, 'Hawk.
But remember to duck, and let the young 'uns do the silly stuff.

Joel - I once sat on a GG across the Atlantic on a 141 - web seating.
And yea RTO, my hat is real and I like it. I wish it sucked more.

Damn, Hawk, I thought you got that from a CIA guy while you were on a river...maybe the Mein?
Posted by Blackfive at September 6, 2004 02:05 AM
I never minded those shots...it's that damn gamma globulin that was a pain in the ass.
Posted by Blackfive at September 6, 2004 02:07 AM
GH,
Did they really give you an old Gulf War I surplus boonie? Didn't they have anything in a modern DCU pattern?
;-)

Good eye Smash - that's actually my hat from an old Bright Star. I'll post a shot of my new brim tomorrow.
Man, you can't get away with cutting corners in the blogosphere...

Good luck with your mission, and stay safe. Get some sleep too! It looks like all you guys post in the middle of the night.

Godbless and Godspeed. And those GG's even hurt a flabby civilian touchie, trust me.

Well dang. I get a couple of hurricanes, don't get a chance to pop over for a visit, and THIS is what I find?!?!?!
Can't leave you military guys alone for a minute!! ;-)

Ouch! Been on the receiving end of multiple needle sticks a few times. We medics get stuck more than nearly anyone.
Too bad I'm retired. I could have demonstrated my silky-smooth immunization technique. :-)

have fun, greyhawk, and take care of yourself

Web seats across the atlantic? That's for girlie men.
Try web seats across the Pacific with stops in Hawaii, Guam and Oki before finally arriving in Thailand.
First leg was fairly empty, but cold enough that the juice in our box lunches froze. Subsequent legs were so packed that knees were interlocking.
Not one of my better AMC memories.

Just thought I'd let you know that your nephew is sharing in your pain. He just got FIVE vaccinations yesterday for his tour of duty on the Mercy Ship (going to Haiti and Honduras) which begins Thursday. Hopefully he will be back a couple of days before Christmas. And he didn't get a cool hat!

Watch your six GH and keep the blog rolling. After 10.5 months in the sand I'll tell you keep your head down.
Stay Safe
