I don't understand how my first instinct to that
situation could be so completly different than
these people. It's like a cult or something.
I thank God for the rough men.

This from Oliver Wills:
"Fighting terror means encouraging true democracy, helping educate and feed people -- and we don't feel that the administration is doing that."
GOOD GOD!!! Thats right Mr. Willis, if we just help educate and feed more people then these terrorists will just take a cleansing breath and become NORMAL, not the bloodthirsty demented demons they are. (btw, how many billions do we spend on foreign aid??? I mean, how much is enough for you)
This way of thinking is so dangerous and stupid that I shudder to imagine them in power again.
I can't post on Mr. Willis's website without all that registering garbage, but I hope he reads this. Go to my blog Mr. Willis and read my take on the murder of those children. (sorry Greyhawk to keep posting my blog here!) www.Rightwingsparkle.blogspot.com Click on "This will haunt me"
You need your eyes opened Oliver.
"Elsewhere tonight rough men ride." Greyhawk, you rock.

It's just the ancient Marxist materialist root of the old lefties showing itself. Make 'em richer, and they'll become just like us! (Of course, you only make 'em richer by tossing your money at them - god forbid that globalization take root and they do business and earn their way to a better standard of living. Not that!)
A large number of the world's terrorists are from Saudi Arabia, and plenty of them are from middle to richer families. They aren't the downtrodden proletariat. They're just evil.

This Oliver guy sounds like he is in Moore country a little bit. He just like Moore says that Iraq is wrong and has nothing to do with the war on terror. Both of these people say we need to spread democracy through the region. Well hey NEWSFLASH: by getting rid of Saddam we are letting Iraq build a democracy in the region and we hope others will follow in the region. It's not that hard people. It makes me think these are probably the same people who say we must go to Sudan to stop genocide yet fail to notice the genocide of Saddam. Let Kerry's paper tiger U.N. go to Suddan. Oh my bad we saw what they did in Rawanda and Somalia. Unless you can offer a real and better solution, put a sock in it. Plus to say Saddam was not a sponsor of terror by way of funding, training, harboring, and further contacts shows you are not paying attention or a total partisan hack like Joe Wilson or Richard "I'm sure Iraq helped Sudan build WMD" Clarke bent on your own political agenda. I still wonder where some of these people against the war in Iraq were when Clinton bombed Iraq for six years and all of his friends in the DNC said that Iraq was a great threat to the U.S. and the world bent on using WMD to spread chaos around the world? Where are those people now? Oh that's right they are infected with Moore syndrome and trying to forget what they said when Clinton was in office. Anybody wonder why Zell Miller is so pissed at his party?

God Bless to all the Rough Men and Rough Women who stand ready to defend us. This is the only response the animals can understand.

Someone might want to point out to Matt and the rest of his self-loathing ilk that there were massive demonstrations in Grozny (that's the capitol of Grozny, Matt), and other Chechen cities AGAINST the terrorists.
Yep, they sound down-trodden to me.
Posted by TomB at September 5, 2004 06:38 PM
OOOPS!
That is Grozny is the CAPITAL of CHECHNYA.
I'd hate to confuse Matt more than he already is.

Hmmmm.
1. They're not tough enough to be called "pansies". I think a far more effete flower is required. Perhaps "pussywillow" is more appropriate. *shrug*
2. What the hell do the liberals want to DO in Afghanistan? Ok so we don't invade Iraq. So we drop 4 divisions into Afghanistan. Ok. NOW WHAT? Are we going to invade Pakistan? Not hardly. So what the hell?
Afghanistan is a battlefield of special forces. The terrain, politics, population distribution and other factors all make Afghanistan the battlefield where special ops forces reign supreme.
3. Now some liberals want to go and deal with Iran and are screaming about why Bush didn't invade that country. Well all I can add to that is that perhaps Bush didn't invade because of all the liberal nagging.
No wonder Kerry fits right in. He's as whiny as they are.

I also can't post at Matt or rogers Sites-I comment, but don't blog. But I kept seeing the 'CHILD' offer to get people into the Military to fight in Iraq-does "it" really have that POWER??? If so, maybe you can forward this to "it" for consideration-I retired in '87 after 22 yrs in the military, but wanted to help in GW1-turned down-and at age 57 now, I didn't think I could get back in-so what are my chances of getting back there with a Matt or Rodger order??? Yea, I know, F'all...and I KNOW neither one of thede EVIL children EVER spent 1 day around, let alone in , the military-but oh they claim to speak for all of US-our present active patriots and WE Vets-just like the JFKWannabe.....did you know he was in the 'Nam????

Willis displays astounding ignorance. Earlier this year, he discussed the 51 votes needed for conviction after impeachment. We just had an impeachment trial 5 years ago! His writing errors also occasionally suggest a weak conceptual grasp of English--unfortunately, I have no desire to pore through his garbage for an example. Yglesias wrote an incoherent, internally inconsistent post and then insulted Reynolds for quoting him accurately. Lowered standards have enabled these two clowns to avoid learning their craft and to counter criticism with cliches and bile.
