I've been reading this guy's posts for about a
week and a half. I'm scared for him and pissed
at the media for not doing the job that they
constantly pat themselves on the back for doing.
I was thinking I'd start hammering 'News' sites
with email demanding they do some actual work,
but would that get this guy in trouble?
He makes me proud. Nuff' said.

CNN etc probably just not there, vs doing anything underhanded.

Brought back some old memories!

I had doubts about the Stryker even though my old outfit [23rd Infantry Regiment] was the original Stryker unit. When Hackworth whined about the difficulty getting add-on armor for Hummers, I told him that Hummers were not designed as armored vehicles and that they should be brought back Stateside and distributed to Soccer Moms and be replaced with Strykers, M-113s and Bradleys. Sending troops into danger with field expedient armor is criminal negligence.

For some reason I'm unable to register on his site to comment. Would someone please pass along a 'Well Done!' for me? A thank you, also.

Glad you're publicizing his blog - amazing stuff. As far as media coverage, our site tracks his unit and I'm fairly certain there are no Western journalists in the region. They're all in Baghdad and rely on military press releases for information on other parts of the country. The Army has not publicized the details of the operations mentioned on his site.
