Ignore those who dont understand that freedom isnt free.
As long as men like Kevin exist, America will have the testicular fortitude to stand strong, and get the job done.
Take refuge in the words of JFK who said:
"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

(sounding like my mother) What is wrong with people?!?! I'm stunned and speechless that, with all that is going on, people are leaving messages LIKE THOSE on an active duty soldiers site. Screw 'em. (I'd say it a bit harsher, but I'm trying to behave here.) Everyone has a right to their opinions - you all make sure that right continues to stand, but what ever happened to common sense?

Blake was from Texas, he grew up very poor
With no other options,
he signed on for the Marine Corp.
A war is on, have you forgotten,
He was sure Iraq was responsible for bin Laden.
He'd call liberals weak,
and parasites to the nation
Little did he know, they just had an education.
For Blake believed Bush was God's anoited one
Guess he forgot Jesus is God's only son.
And Bush would not lie,
and his rhetoric was so clear
It gave Blake some purpose,
and he had nothing to fear
He was sent to Iraq, he fought hard and brave
Six months later, he was six feet in a grave.
Blake's mother cried and asked why why why,
why must her son lie six feet beneath?
Would someone just play her that song by Toby Keith??!!!!

Joe
That's a very nice poem. Here in Mudville we honor the fallen who gave all in the cause of freedom. I've checked though and can't find a Marine from Texas named "Blake".

Did you just make him up?

I tried to throw a little love his way, and ran off at least 1 little leftist scamp who insisted his opinions were facts.
Shesh. I must be getting better at this.
That or I am having delusions of grandeur.
Eitherway what they do to him overthere is wrong. I'll make it a point to visit more regularly now and try to protect the boys as it were. I know JarheadDad was over there for the longest. Maybe i can get him to team up with me and we'll do a little house clearing of our own for Kev :-)
