Thank you. That was a marvelous description of a place my father served as a very young Marine and my stepson served just 2 years ago. Your words evoke strong feelings about a soldier's reality.

I too am a Korean vet for whom your story brings it all back. I was at Camp Page in the eighties. Beautiful country. (But the USA is still #1)
